Lesson Policies

(1) Payment

When you schedule an online lesson, you should complete your payment at the same time. An invoice will be sent to your email address shortly.

Payment is accepted by PayPal, Google Pay (debit) or credit. If you take an in-person lesson, you can pay at the lesson. Payment is accepted by cash, PayPal, Google pay (debit) or credit.

(2) Cancellation/ No show

If you need to reschedule or cancel your lesson, please let us know at least 12 hours notice.

If you do not give us 12 hours notice, or if you are more than 15 minutes late without notice the lesson will be considered a no-show and charged.

For avoiding this situation, the teacher usually sends you a confirmation and an invoice the day before the scheduled lesson.

Please tell your teacher then if you would like to reschedule or cancel your lesson.

(3) Be on time

Please be on time for your lessons. The teacher would wait for a maximum of 15 minutes for you to arrive at the lesson.

If you have not shown up and have not sent a prior notice, the teacher would be free to leave the location or go off-line on Skype.

There is no refund and the fee must be paid in full.

(4) Weather Cancellations

Winter in upstate NY, there are several days that schools are closed or delayed because of snowstorms, extremely low temperature or unpredictable power outages (especially those with unexpected blackouts as online lessons need an internet connection). The teacher will inform you as soon as she confirmed that the lesson should be canceled.  You can get a full refund or schedule for the make up lesson.
