Lesson Policies


(1) Scheduling

You can schedule lessons through the booking system on this website. The lesson requests need to be made at least 24 hours in advance.

If there are more than 12 hours before the lesson time begins, you can modify the lesson through the booking page.

Please be aware that it is not possible to change the lesson start time on the system if there are less than 12 hours before the lesson time begins.

If it is within 12 hours of your lesson and you must reschedule please let us know as soon as possible so I can try to accommodate your request.

(2) Payment

You can pay the lesson fee on your booking page when you schedule the lesson. If you would rather pay them later, just skip the payment.

We will send the invoice to your email address the day before the scheduled lesson. Please complete the payment before your lesson starts.

We accept payment by PayPal or credit card.


(3) Cancellation and Rescheduling

Your teacher will send you a lesson reminder the day before the scheduled lesson. Please reply YES or NO to confirm your lesson.

If you would like to reschedule or cancel your lesson, you can modify your lesson through the booking page (if there are more than 12 hours before the lesson time) or just reply to your teacher.

Once the lesson is confirmed, or if there are less than 3 hours before the lesson time begins, the lesson will be non-refundable and the fee must still be paid in full. If you purchased a package, one of the lessons will be deducted from your total.

(4) No Show/ Be on time

If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the lesson will be considered a no-show and charged. Please be ready so we can get started promptly at the scheduled lesson time. We cannot extend your lesson time when another lesson is scheduled after you.

(5) Exceptions

1. During the winter in upstate NY, there are several days that snowstorms cause unpredictable power outages.

Your teacher will try to conduct the lesson on the phone. If it didn't work well,  your teacher will offer to reschedule the lesson.

2. We understand that there are times when we have unexpected emergencies and advance notification is not possible.

We are willing to work with those who are faced with extraordinary circumstances beyond their control (natural disasters, traffic accidents, sudden emergencies, etc.)

(5) Teacher's Cancelation

If your teacher has to cancel or reschedule the lesson for personal reasons, the teacher will inform you at least 24 hours before the lesson time. You can get a full refund if you already paid. If the teacher requests rescheduling less than 24 hours prior to the lesson, you will get a full refund and a free lesson.

(6) Privacy Policy

As per our confidentiality policy, we will not disclose any personal information that we acquire via our online booking procedures or during our lessons, nor will we use such information for any illicit purposes. Lesson notes will be used just for your learning only.
